Advanced RG Programs
Get more cartwheels, more rolls, more handstands and
more gym time with Advanced Recreational classes. Gymnasts in these classes
will be challenged to build on the skills they have learned in previous
Rhythmic Gymnastics, Artistic Gymnastics or Dance classes, exploring new
movement and technique while developing more advanced apparatus skills. We
recommend gymnasts be able to perform the majority of the Base RG Skills prior to entering an advanced class, though focus and work ethic are more important than physical abilities.
Once a week not enough? Gymnasts in Pre-Competitive classes will begin a more challenging program, designed to introduce gymnasts to the structure of competitive training, without the expectations and pressures associated with competing). Gymnasts should be able to perform the majority of the Base RG Skills for Advanced and Pre-Competitive RG, and follow previous FVRG coach’s recommendations to enter a Pre-Competitive class.
