Rhythmic Gymnastics Program Offerings

Mom, Dad & Me RG

This class encourages gymnasts age 2 – 4 years to explore gymnastics movement with a parent. Gymnasts will learn basic movement skills and will use traditional rhythmic gymnastics apparatus, such as hoops, balls and ribbons.

Recreational

This class allows gymnasts, age 4 – 6 years and 7 – 12 years, to learn about rhythmic gymnastics in a fun, gymnast centered environment. Gymnasts will use ropes, hoops, balls and ribbons and learn body movements such as jumps, turn and tumbling.

Boys Recreational

Gymnasts age 4 – 6 years will be introduced to basic gymnastics skills including Artistic Gymnastics skills, such as handstands, rolls and cartwheel, and will also have the opportunity to learn about Martial Gymnastics, the men’s form of rhythmic gymnastics, a fast growing sport in Canada and Internationally.

Pre-Competitive

Gymnasts 6 years + who are interested in learning more challenging body and apparatus skills and exploring what the competitive world is all about are welcome in this class. Gymnasts will perform at local club events and may have the opportunity to perform at events around the Province.

Competitive

Gymnasts 8 years + in this class will have the opportunity to train at a higher level building strength, flexibility and learn advanced body and apparatus skills. While most competitions are within BC, some gymnasts may have the opportunity to compete across Canada. Registration for these classes are by audition only.

RG for Athletes

This class allows athletes 10 years + who are competing in other sports, such as figure skating, equestrian, karate, synchronized swimming or dance, to expand their skill set and improve strength and flexibility using rhythmic gymnastics. Skills taught and conditioning programs will be adapted based on the athletes in the class, and their goals.

Registration forms must be completed and mailed in with Registration Fees and Class Fees for a gymnast to be considered ‘registered’. For mailing information, please contact FVRG@FVRhythmics.com
For Sessional classes, registration forms will only need to be filled out once annually
Registration Fees are non-refundable and only need to be paid once annually if a gymnast returns for more than one set
Class Fees – one lump sum or post-dated cheques (15th of each month, Oct – May or June for Provincial Level Competitive programs).
*Sessional programs are asked to pay lump sum at the beginning of each set*
If the gymnast must leave her class mid-season, she will be refunded only for the month in which she has not participate
